Durgee, 50, of 505 Coper ST, Watertown, died Sunday morning at the House of the Good Samaritan in that city where he was admitted Saturday afternoon. Mr. Durgee, who was a carpenter by trade, was born Jan. 28, 1898 at Altmar, Oswego County, a son of George and Mary Kinnie Durgee. In 1927 he married Miss Isobel Brant [i.e. Grant] of Paterson, N.J. who survives, together with a brother, Charles Durgee of Orwell; a sister, Mrs. Malcolm Beach of Lakeland, Fla., and two nieces, Genevieve Miner of Pulaski and Esther Hager of Sandy Creek.
