    CHURCH COUNCIL RECOGNITION

    CLARANCE E. STUMP, who at the time of his death on April 27, 1932, was a member of the consistary of the St. John's Reformed Church as an Elder, was born at Manchester, Ohio on September 28, 1878. He has been a member of the Reformed Church from early childhood and six years ago he united with St. John's.

    As a token of our respect and appreciation Be it resolved by the Consistory of St. John's Reformed Church that we recognize and appreciate the sterling christian character of CLARANCE E. STUMP; his loyal devotion to our church; his untiring efforts in its behalf; the fine example of his life; and that while we deeply deplore his death, we glory in the knowledge that he died a christian. Be it further resolved that a copy of these resolutions be spread on our minutes and a copy sent to his family.
