Clara Mae, wife of Alfred Rose, pased away January 4, 1956, on the Brooklyn Side. She would have been 68 years of age next month. She was born on Feb. 4, 1888, in French Woods and was the daughter of Joseph and Clara (Black) Hanstine. On June 4, 1906, in Fishs Eddy she was married to Alfred Rose. Besides her husband she is survived by her daughter, Mrs. Martin Harris, a brother, William Hanstine, Sr., two sisters, Jennie Irwin, Mrs. Josephine Brown, three grandchhildren, one great grandchild, several nieces and nephews. Services were at Henderson Biedekapp with burial in Riverview Cemetery.
