Christian Seybert

Kegley, vol 3:775, gives his DOB as 1744, with his place of birth unknown. He was residing in Virginia when he enlisted as a Private at Fort Chiswell. He served under Captain Isaac Taylor and Colonel John Montgomery until the close of the war. He married Mary (Nancy) in 1780. They had one known child, a daughter, Mary Rebecca. Mary Rebecca was born in Wythville, Virginia about 1793. She married John Clark in 1810. Christian's granddaughter, Sallie (Sarah) Clark and her husband, George Washington Eager, and some of their descendents lived in Bell County, Kentucky.
