Cheriby Gentry was born ca 1815/16 per her age on the 1850 census (34). Her maiden name isn't proven but it is probably Gentry as there is a Cheriby Gentry, age 70, widow next to her in 1850, also born SC. It seems probable that the older Cheriby is mother to the younger, but that isn't proven.

I don't know who Cheriby was married to, but she was already a widow by 1850. Her oldest child at home was 18, so Cheriby probably married before ca 1832 to a Dugger somewhere in Tennessee (the children were born in TN).

If someone could find out more about Cheriby Gentry (c1770) then perhaps they can find out which Dugger married Cheriby (c1816) before ca 1832 in TN.

They were on the 1850 census in Paulding Co., GA.
