    1923 Sept. 23, James Henry Murphy d. in Brighton, Adams Co., CO; buried Iowa Union Cemetery, Phillips Co., KS. After his first wife Mary died in 1915, James went to California where he married Charlotte, Mary's first cousin. They were on their way back to Kansas to visit when he died at the train station in Brighton, Colorado, from a heart attack.
