IN THE NAME OF GOD AMEN. I, CHARLES SULLIVANT, Sen'r, of Halifax County being this sexth day of Sept. 1776 in sound judgement tho in a bad state of health, do revoking all former wills.
IMPRINTIS I give and bequeth to my son CHARLES the land wheron he now lives in Halifax County containing two hundred acres, the other two hundred acres adjoining him to be devided between my sons CLEMENT and THOMAS and I will that Thomas have his choice of the two hundred and likeways of my Sandy Creek land and should he settle on the Halifax land, I desire he will make aright to his brother NATHANIEL for the Sandy Creek land. I leave a Bond of Drury Yeoman for forth pounds payable the first day of April ensuring to discharge my debts and should that prove insufficient the balance must be paid out of my personal estate, after which I bequeath to my daughter, TABITHA WHITWORTH, the sum of ten pounds to be raised ouf of my Estate, I leave my daughter, ESTHER, a red heifer and the best bed and furniture at this time in my possession and the Linen Wheel, the remainder of my personal Estate after being appraised and sold, Tabitha's Legacy being paid, I likeways bequeath to the said Esther, IN WITNESS of which I have ..........here into set my hand and seal the day and year before written Should any of the above Legatees decease without lawful heirs, i desire their respective Legacies may be equally divided amongst my last wife's children.
I appoint Thomas Sullivant, Charles Sullivant my sons mentioned in the within Will and William Jameson as Executors to this my last will ,,,,,,,,,,,,

At a Court held 8 Oct. 1747. CHARLES SULLIVANT and Mary his wife acknowledged a deed to Benj. Clardy. Lunenburg County, VA Order Book 6, 1759-1761 July Court, 1760 p. 147. Charles Sullivant is appointed guardian to Hannah and Mary Sullivant, orphans of John Sullivant, dec'd. he giving security, whereupon he together with Henry Isbell and Clement Read his security entered into and acknowledged their bond according to law for that purpose.

August 29, 1774 Charles Sullivant, Sr. of Charlotte County, VA to James Fairlee of Chesterfield County...100 pounds current money...100 acres on Lick Branch...a direct line of said Sullivant Plantation Wit: Wm. Bouldin, Andrew Lea, Charles Sullivant, Chr. McConnis (?) Recorded: September 5, 1774.
