Obituary- Three times in four weeks has death entered the home of Charles J Sheets. and each time taken one of the little ones. Oct 26 Baby Carl, aged 4 years, 13 days, fell a victim to that dread disease Diptheria Croup, The next day Millie aged 11 years, 4 month and 5 days was stricken with the same disease. These children with two that are yet living were members of the M. E. Sunday school Junior League and were recently baptized. The grief stricken parents have the sympathy of the entire church and community, and though many friends were shut off from acts of kindness that they should have loved to perform, some could go to them. Rev. J. K. Walts held a very touching service for them and they were laid to rest in Woodlawn cemetery. We are glad to know in these sad trials that Jesus was a man of sorrows and acquainted with grief and that He has said "Blessed are they that mourn, for they shall be comforted." -
