1870: they emigrated from Germany (but were not married)

1886: Charles married Augusta, probably in NY

1887: they were in New York (where son John was born) 1889: they were in Maryland (where dau Eliz. was born) 1891: they were in Maryland (where son Henry was born) 1894: they were in New York (where son Albert was born)

In 1896/97, Poughkeepsie city directory lists a Max Lintel, butcher, at 50 S. Bridge

Can't find him in 1900. Should be in New York.

1920, 1930: his wife is a widow, living with her daughter (Eliz) and son-in-law (Albert Perkins).
