March 28. INS) A duo of grim bandits was at large today after holding up the First National Bank here not so successfully for them. The robbers entered the bank and at the point of guns Ordered Charles H. Draper and L. M. Derby to raise their hands. Both men complied. The thugs looked on in amazement as Draper and Derby grinned. "Come on now. Gather up the cash!" said one tensely. "What's the Idea?" laughed Draper. "This bank has been in. my hands, as receiver, since last fall." The bandits were cordially invited to inspect the vault for themselves. They found it empty and withdrew sheepishly.
Note: likely a son or grandson of this Charles Draper?
