The 1900 Census index lists Charles W. Barricklow living in Fort Smith Arkansas on Garrison Avenue, house no 411. At that time he was 28 years old, married to Clara, age 22 whose birthday was December 1877, born in the Seminole Nation. They had a son, Clarence, age 4, born Oct 1895. A note says, "Prob(ably) Roy D's Fa(ther) & 1st w(ife). Another note, beside his name says, "Fa(ther) Ind(iana), Mo(ther) PA".

  The Thirteenth Census of the United States, 1910, lists  Charles W. Barricklow, Son of William and Mary Bennett, 1872, living in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, age 38, married 2 years, Born in Kansas, wife Mary L, born 1875, 35 years old, born in Mississippi, father born in Georgia, mother born in Mississippi, son Roy D.

He was a printer, out of work 2 weeks in 1910, working on his own account, able to read and write, renting a house with three other non-relatives.
