Obituary

Fort Wayne Sentinel, 9 June 1899, page 2, column 4:

"Catherine M. Fairfield, wife of John [sic] E. Fairfield, died at 9:15 this morning at the home of the family, 109 Wallace street, from blood poisoning. Mrs. Fairfield's age was twenty-eight years, ten months and sixteen days and she leave a husband a babe but three weeks old. She was born in Hardin county, Ohio. Her husband is a motorman on the street railway. The funeral services will be held Sunday at 2:30 from the home, and at 3 o'clock from Grace Reformed Church."
