Ayre-Goodwin Funeral Service, 4500 S. Lone Pine, Springfield, Missouri Records Newspaper Unknown Fred C. Bishop, 70, of 2517 West Madison, died in Cos Medical Center at 12:47 p.m. Saturday shortly after being admitted. He had been a Springfield resident for eight years, moving here from Salem, Ore. He was a retired custodian who attended Calvary Church. Survivors include his wife, Goldie; a son, Freddie Ray Bishop of Dallas, Ore.; two step-sons, Darvin Horton, of Salem, Ore., and Kenneth Horten, St. Louis, three step-daughters, Mrs. Juanita Horton, St. Louis, Mrs. Alta Chrisco, St. Louis, and Mrs. Diane Akins, Salem, Ore.; a sister, Miss Gladys Bishop, of Springfield; and 20 grandchildren. Services will be announced by Ayre-Goodwin. Margaret Evelyn Gee, 1603 118th Ave., Knoxville, Iowa 50138 March 1996 According to a lady in Trask, he had two sons. They died of diabetes. Fred died "a long time ago." He ran away after his dad died and wasn't heard from until he died. Gladys and her mother were notified when he died. He apparently went to the Springfield or Branson area.
