Benjamin's arrival to the United States is unknown but census say 1902 and he is located in Joilet, Platte, Nebraska in 1910 with family, in 1917 he registered for the Draft as Ben Potmesil. Ben enlisted in Columbus, NE and went to Camp Cody, Demins, New mexico first then went to Iowa were he died. He was listed as private in the 33rd Company 164th Depot Bridage. He died Jan 9 1939 and is buried at Ft Leavenworth National Cemetery, Kasas grave Section B grave 2296.
