Alois left through Bremen Germany on the ship Havel and arrived at Ellis Island on Sept 19th 1895 with a detineation for Humphrey, NE. 1900 he was working for a farmer in Walker, Platte, Nebraska. In 1901 he bought the family farm place in Madison Co, Nebraska. On Nov 26 1904 he married Fannie Javovek at the Columbus Courthouse, Platte Co, Nebraska and lived on the farm.

Alois was naturalized on Feb 11, 1909. October 24 1910 Alois divorced Fannie. 1910 he built the house that was the farm house his children were raised in. 1911 he went to Czechoslovia and found Marie Blecha and left Hambrg on the ship cincinnati on OCt 22 1911 and they arrived through Ellis Island and went straight to Tyndall Bon Homme South Dakata and were married on Oct 30, 1911.

Alois and Marie had 4 children. In 1953 Alois purchased the house on the edge of Newman Grove, Madison, Nebraska and let his son live with his family and farm the home place and Alois and Marie moved to a farm on the edge of town till his death. Alois would walk to the farm every day to help.

1976 Marie had a stroke and was moved to the Newman Grove Mid Nebraska Nursing Home were she remained till her death in 1992.
