  3. Find A Grave says Bliss d. 1775 but has no image of a gravestone to add credibility. It lists three wives, adding Elizabeth Thayer, but not mentioning the Susanna French given in the NEHGR articled cited. The record of Braintree, p. 875, show a marriage to Elizabeth Thayer on 30 Jul 1768, "both of this Town". While no other Bliss Tolman is known of, no death record for Susanna, or other corroborating details have been located. Indeed, even the marriage to Susanna, including her maiden name and origins, needs more research.
