Blaney (Bleney), who also settled in Anson, sold land there with William as his witness, and obtained land on Fishing Creek of Anson Co., which later fell into SC. (Blaney/Blenny as a surname is also found contemporaneously in Albermarle Co., VA.) He subsequently returned to Augusta, after which his residence fell into Botetourt.
