    Betsy Ames Daughter of the above named Burpee and hannah his wife was born June ye 9th 1787.
    [Note: The birthdates for the family of Person:Burpee Ames (1) found in Source:New Hampshire, United States. New Hampshire Birth Records, Early to 1900, which are copies made by the town clerks from the town records in the early 1900s, contain several impossibilities (Jeremiah and Nathan born on different dates in 1784, Joseph and Poole born on different dates of 1797) and the dates do not reflect the sequence numbers assigned. They do not accurately reflect the record found on Vol. 2,p. 5 of the town records. The state record for Betsey (here) has been ignored in favor of the town record.]
    [Added note for Betsey: Betsey is recorded out of order (her and Nathan are switched) in the town records (hence the sequence number on the state record is confusing). It is assumed the birthdate of the town record is more correct then the one on the gravestone.]
