- ↑ "BERTHA KING: Funeral services will be at 2pm Monday in Thurston Funeralhome, Pataskala for Mrs Berrth King, 88, of Pataskala. The rev. HaroldPlace will officiate with burial in Pataskala Cemetery. Mrs. King diedearly this morning in Murphy's Nursing home, Rushville, where she hadbeen a patient for three years. She was born Aug 11, 1881 in LimaTownship to William and Anna Gieseck. Mrs. King was a member ofPataskala United Methodist Church and Pythian Sister. She is survived byone daughter, Mrs Pearl Beeson of Pataskala; four sons: Lawrence ofAlexandria, Russell, Gail and Robert of Pataskala; one brother WilliamGieseck of Columbus one sister: Mrs Margaret Doyle of Columbus, 10grandchildren and 15 great-granchildren. Friends may call at the funeralhome from 2 to 9 pm Sunday."
