Bersheba M. "Basha" Gunn
Her parents are said to have owned a tavern in East Ashtabula, Ohio. In 1880, son Earl and granddaughter Alta were living with Basha and Elijah.

"Memorial to the Pioneer Women of the Western Reserve" says that Mrs. "Barsheba" Gleason, wife of Elijah was an excellent manager and homekeeper"
