Benjamin Stephens, Jr. was born 11 January 1779 in Orange Co Va, and died 15 April 1855 in Cass County, Missouri. He was buried in Stephens/Ryle Graveyard, Boone County, Kentucky. He was the son of Benjamin Stephens, Sr. and Dorothy Jemima Waller. He married 30 May 1799 in Orange County, Virginia, Agnes Nelson, who was born 6 February 1782 in St James, Goochland County, Virginia, and died 26 March 1865 in Boone County, Kentucky. She was buried in Stephens/Ryle Graveyard, Boone County, Kentucky. She was the daughter of James Nelson and Lucy Robinson.
