    Benjamin Hull of Westerly blacksmith. Will dated 9 Jun 1778, proved 28 Sep 1778, p. 386, receipts pps 504, 514. Wife Mary; father-in-law Peleg Ross coexor with wife. Daughters Mary & Lydia both < 21. Mary Hull (so called) daughter of Rachel Saunders single woman of Westerly (of which said Rachel charged me of begetting). Brother Joseph Hull. Cousin Joseph Hull son of brother Joseph Hull.
    Witnesses: Jane Lewis, Hannah Hull and Joseph Crandall.
    {p. 514 6 Nov 1783. Received of Peleg Ross Exor of Will of Benjamin Hull late of Westerly deceased $20 in full of a legacy given to Mary Hull daughter of Benjamin Hull deceased (being the daughter of Rachel Saunders then singlewoman of Westerly who charged Benjamin with begetting). In consideration of which we James Saunders and the said Rachel, Grandfather & Mother to said Mary discharge said deceased estate.}
