    Obit- Bartley J. McDonnell, age 93, of St. Joseph, passed away Mon. Dec. 21, 1998, at Lakeland Continuing Care Centre, St. Joseph, funeral mass Thrus. Dec. 24 at St. Joseph RC Ch., Interment in Resurrection Cemetery.: Mr. McDonnell was born March 27, 1905, in Rama Ont., he moved to St. Joseph in 1943 and had been a machinist at Whirpool Corp. for 27 years, before retiring in 1970. He was a member of the Knights of Columbus Lodge 1120, International Association of Machinist, No. 1918 and Whirlpool Oldtimers Club. Survivors include his wife the former Joan Bender whom he married OCT. 25, 1947, in Waterloo, Iowa, one daughter Mrs. Richard (Susan) A. Wolf.
