    Balzar Newton Glasscock was born in Monongalia county, W. Va. Jan. 22, 1842, and died May 17, 1927, in Greeley. He came to Iowa when a mere boy, and on October 11, 1874 was married to Hattie Brazleton. Two children were born to them -- Mrs. Myrtle Williams of Manhattan, Kas. and Mrs. Frankie Gross of New Brunswick, N. J. Mr. Glasscock is survived by a grandson, two sisters and three brothers, in addition to the daughters named. Mr. Glasscock was a member of Tradmor lodge No. 225 A. F. & A. M. Greeley. Funeral services were held on Friday morning from the home of Mrs. Emily Odell, and burial was made in Grant View cemetery.
