On the same page are Hiram Ratcliff 31 'farming' with Margaret 29; 'Elza M.' 7; and Rachel 3; as well as [cousin? nephew?] John Ratcliff 30. On the next page is his son Baldwin W.  In the 1870 census for Richland, Whitley Co., Indiana, Baldwin W. Radcliffe is 38 OH 'farmer' with Catherine 34; Josephine 14 and James S. 12 -- all born OH.  Next to him is Hiram Radcliff 41 OH, 'farmer'; with Mary 24 'second wife'; John 5 IN; Harry F. 1 month IN; Elza Marion (male) 17 OH; and Rachel A. 13 OH. Next to him is John L. In the 1880 census for Richland, Whitley Co., Indiana, Baldwin W. Radcliff is a farmer, age 48 from Ohio (parents North Carolina).  His wife Catharine is 43 from Ohio (father Pennsylvania, mother Virginia).  The children are (nephews) F. E. Radcliff, 9, and Hiram M., 6 -- both born Indiana, parents Ohio-- daughter Josephine, 24, single; and [granddaughter?] Daisy McQuary, 3, born Indiana (parents Indiana). {p.412d}  His brother Hiram is also in Richland.
 In the 1900 census for Beaver, Cowley Co., Kansas, Baldwin W. Ratcliff is 68, born Sept 1831 in Ohio (father North Carolina, mother VA), 'invalid', married 45 years; with wife Catherine 64 born Feb 1836 in Ohio (father PA, mother VA), 0 of 0 children living.
