From pg 175 of Van Benschoten book: "Augusta attended Maplewood Seminary at Pittsfield, Mass., and later Miss Porter's School at Farmington, Conn. Soon thereafter she made her first trip to Europe, and travel over, entered a school at Montreux, Switzerland, where she applied herself to the languages. Since then she has come and gone frequently, passing much of her time abroad in travel and study. Of late years (1907) she has made her home in New York City. She is unmarried." (as of that writing).
