(2) Sudbury 29 Apr 1798 Asahel Gibbs Jr. Asahel Gibbs Jr was born Sudbury around 1770 and was probably the son of Asahel Gibbs, Sr and Mindwell (-) Gibbs, A Mindwell Gibbs were among the individuals purchasing items (Middlesex Probate 15343) from the esate of Elijah Moore (he also had a debt to her). The purchaser is surely Sarah's mother-in-law, as Mindwell Gibbs the duaghter of Asahel Jr and Sally (Moore)(How) Gibbs was then only 17 years old.

    link 8 Jul 1785 Know all Men by these Presents that I Isaac Gibbs of Sudbury in the County of Middlesex and Commonwealth of Massachusetts Yeoman for and in Consideration of the just Sum of fifty Pound to me in hand before the ensealing and delivery hereof well and truly paid by my Son Asahel Gibbs of this Town County and Commonwealth above said Husbandman the Reciept whereof I do hereby acknowledge and myself there with fully satisfied and contented and thereof and of every part and parcel thereof do exonerate aquit and discharge him the said Asahel Gibbs his Heirs Executors and administrators forever by these Presents Have given granted bargained sold alienated conveyed and confirmed and by these Presents do freely fully and absolutely give grant and bargain sell aliene convey and confirm unto him the said Asahel Gibbs his Heirs and Assigns forever a certain piece or parcel of land Commonly known by the Name of the Old Place lying and being in Sudbury above said and in that part of the Town called Lannum containing by Estimation twenty five Acres be the same more or less and bounded as follows Wit. Northerly on land of Lieut. Joseph Read Easterly partly on land now in the possession of William Hunt and on the Road leading from Lannum to Stone's Mills Southerly partly on the land of Lieut. Jacob Read and on another Road leading from Lannum and to Framingham also on land of Joseph Read above and Westerly on land above said Joseph Read or however otherwise or reported to be bounded To Have and To hold the said granted and bargained..." [This is probably land along what was called Lannum Brook and now called Landham Brook near Edgell Rd on the way to Framingham]
