Ara died before her mother, according to Des Moines, IA 12 Feb. 1931 reporting the obit. of Martha Turbett survived by two daughters: Mrs. C.C. Braught (where Martha died), and Mrs. E. B. Evans of Monrovia, CA. No mention of daughter Ara (Mrs. W.L. Smith). She died after her half brother died in July 1906 (she, Mrs. W.L. Smith of 1016 W. 9th in Des Moines, is mentioned in his obituary as living). However, there needs to be documentation of the date and place of her death.
