Anna Claudine Camp, 92, of Whitney, went home to be with our Lord and Savior Jesus, at 4 p.m. Friday, Dec. 29, 2006, in a Ft. Worth nursing home. Services will be 11 a.m. Wednesday, Jan. 3, 2007, at the Marshall and Marshall Chapel in Whitney. Phillip Gibson, pastor of Living Water Church in Burleson will be officiating. Interment will be at the Hillcrest Garden of Memory near Hillsboro, Texas. Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday, Jan. 2, 2007.

Anna Claudine was born in Hubbard, Texas, to the late D. L. and Gertrude (Perry) Griffing. She married J. B. Camp on Oct. 8, 1945. She and J.B. moved to Whitney in 1949, where she taught school for a number of years. Anna Claudine was a member of King Memorial United Methodist Church in Whitney.

She is preceded in death by her husband on July 6, 1993; two brothers; and one sister.

Survivors include daughter, Linda Camp Boyd and husband, Lynn, of Burleson; grandson, Lyndon Boyd and wife, Shayla, of Cleburne; great-granddaughter, Jade Boyd, of Cleburne; brother, John Griffing and wife, Nona, of Beeville, Texas.
