  4.   According to Source:Greenough, William Whitwell. Descendants of Richard Gardner, of Woburn, of the Name of Gardner, p. 3, John Coddington m. Hannah, b. Charlestown, no birth date given though Richard moved there in 1662, according to the text. This is separate from the Anna b. Woburn who is said to have died before 1697. This scenario is probably wrong. Hannah and Annah are almost certainly the same person. The will of Richard Gardner of Charlestown [Middlesex Probate 8881], dated 15 Mar 1696/97, names "Children of my Daughter Hannah Coddington". She is the first listed daughter, which could mean she is the oldest, or she was the only one deceased. According to the Somerset County Historical Quarterly article, John and Annah Coddington's first child was b. 1677 (see also, Dally, p. 321), which rules out the possibility she was a later daughter born after the move to Charlestown, as any such daughter would have been under 15 in 1677.
