Ann Filby was born on 22nd June 1792 at Wheathampstead in Hertfordshire, daughter of Ann Filby, formerly Lawrence, and her husband Joseph Filby, a labourer. Young Ann appears to have died when she was only fourteen years old, being buried around October 1806.
