A Pioneer, Patriot & Protector

Andrew Franklin Leslie immigrated from Scotland as a Mormon pioneer in 1852. He was a school teacher, a farmer, and a soldier/scout. In the Black Hawk Ward, he was wounded in one engagement three times. His wife said, "When father left in the morning, I never expected to see him alive again."
