Boswell, Chief Deputy Clerk of the Superior Court of Greene County, Georgia, do hereby certify that the within is a true and exact copy of the original record in the office of the Clerk of Said County and is true as to spelling, punctuation and syntax. Hereto I set my hand and affix the seal of this Court this 15th day of May, 1992. Signed Mary E. Boswell - Presented to Walter R. Hubbard a retired police chief of Camden, AlabamaS1 who passed the information on to me, as it appears below.
Know all men by these presents, that I Elizabeth Hubbard of the County and state aforesaid. In consideration of the natural love and affection, which I have and bear unto my beloved children, Cynthia Caroline Hubbard, and Andrew Jackson Hubbard and for divers other good causes & consderations I the said Elizabeth Hubbard, have given granted and confirmed and by these presents, do give grant and confirm unto my before named children Cynthia Caroline Hubbard and Andrew Jackson Hubbard Jointly the following property viz. Four Feather Beds and furniture, Five Tables, one Cupboard, one side board & glassware, three sets plates, Two dishes, one set china, three setts cups & saucers, four chests, Eleven chairs, Seven Head of cattle, one mare and colt, Four pots, one oven, one pair fire dogs, Two Sows and pigs, Three Shoats, one loom, two pair cards, Two wheels, one Reel, Two pot racks, Two Looking Glasses, Three Bowls, Five pitchers, Two pans, and Thirty six and Two thirds acres of Land adjoining James Heard and others, whereon said E Hubbard now lives – Together with all the increase of Said property – if any their should be, to have, hold and enjoy all and singular said property forever – And I the said Elizabeth Hubbard do by these presents warrant and defend the above named Goods, chattels, lands, and teniments unto the said beloved Two children – Cynthia Caroline Hubbard and Andrew Jackson Hubbard, their Heirs Executors Administrators & assigns forever – against the claims of all persons whatsoever – :In witness whereof, I have hereunto set my hand and seal this 26th day of April 1828.
