    from the Zion congregation churchbook-witnesses at Andreas' baptism were Andreas & Carl Ekart (Caroline's parents?? brother??

    According to the St. Jacob's book, Andrew owned and operated a store in Bakersville, Ohio. He also had the post office there. A daughter married a Swigert of Newcomerstown who was a meat cutter, and a second daughter married a Leach who was a son of Andrew Leach.
