Amy Hatch became the great great grandmother of General U.S. Grant, married Jonathan Delano.

Amy Hatch and Jonathan Delano resided in Dartmouth, now New Bedford, and removed to Tolland CT in 1722 or 1723 where her brother Joseph had preceded them.

Their 10th child Susanna Delano married Capt. Noah Grant.

Amy and Jonathan had 13 children: 8 sons and 5 daughters. The first nine were born in Dartmouth (New Bedford) MA.
