Obituary: Carthage Press, Jul 18, 1988 Mrs. Morrow dies at age 99 Mrs. Amelia B. Morrow, 99, 1238 S. Maple St., died at 5:09 p.m. Sunday at McCune-Brooks Hospital where she had been a patient since June 30. Born June 26, 1889, in Jefferson City, she was a daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Hugo Monnig. She was married to Samuel Roy Morrow, a Carthage native, on Dec. 20, 1917, in Jefferson City. They moved to St. Louis, returning to Carthage in 1920. Mr. Morrow was president of Morrow Milling Co. He died May 21, 1968. Mrs. Morrow was a member of St. Ann's Cathoic [sic] Church. She was graduated from St. Mary's College in South Bend, Ind., in 1911. Surviving are three sons <living>; Joe Morrow, 719 Euclid Blvd., Tom Morrow, 814 E. Highland Ave.; five grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren. Requim Mass will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday at St. Ann's Church. The Rev. Larry Gregovich will be celebrant. Burial will be in Park Cemetery. Private family rosary will be held Tuesday. Friends may call at The Knell Mortuary from noon until 8 p.m. Tuesday. The family will receive friends from 7:30 to 8:30 p.m. Tuesday at the home of Mrs. Morrow, 1238 S. Maple St. Memorial contributions may be made to St. Ann's Church or McCune-Brooks Hospital.
