1. Source 180 lists an additional child, Alan Putnam Gard (b.1882 - d. 1889). His presumed father, Obed died in 1879. Allen's birthdate is incorrect or he was the child from another Gard family. 2. The 1900 Census lists Amanda as head of household. 3. Sources 157 and 180 give Washington County, Ohio as place of marriage. This does not seem likely as Amanda was residing in Pike County at the time. Washington County probably came into the transcribed marriage record as Amanda's birth place.
