When his mom and dad were both gone, Aunt Maco gave up her life to raise her siblings. Because of this, in his later life, when Aunt Maco had alzheimer's disease, he felt duty bound to help her. She moved into his home with Grandma and stayed there until she died from the disease, about 3 years later.
