Alva G. Green was born May 4, 1803, and died at Adams Centre, N. Y., Nov. 20, 1885. He was an old and respected citizen of the place, a man of business integrity, and a faithful Christian. He kept himself well informed concerning the times and was an active supporter of the temperance reform. He was loyal to the church, loving her services, and cheerfully bearing the burdens of the Christian relation. He rejoiced at the prospect of meeting his Saviour, and died in the triumphs of the Christian faith. Thus another of the old members of the Adams Church is translated to the church triumphant. A. B.
