Thompson, Alexander - born 3/29/1763 in Augusta County, Virginia where entered service in 1781 in Virginia Regiment; moved 1819 to Kanawha County, Virginia, where granted Pension in 1833; David Ruffner & Clergyman N.W. Calhoun made affidavit there then; soldier's brother mentioned but not named took family bible to Missouri in 1811. F-S14691, R2373.
