- Scott: I have been in correspondence with a Linda Reid, a volunteer at the Cumberland Museum in Amherst. The Alexander Reid who died 7 Jul 1913 and is buried in Pine Grove Cemetery, Oxford is her uncle and is NOT the same Alexander Reid who is listed as uncle in 1911 census with Simon and Esther Webb. Thus, the one who died in 1913 is not our Alexander Reid and all we can say about our Alexander is that he died after 1911. The volunteers at the museum have checked their records and cannot find anything about our Alexander Reid. They have suggested that I try the Presbyterian Archives in Sackville, NB which I plan to do sometime in the future.
