- F-230: Mr. William Waugh of Stafford County, 1,395 acres in Stafford & King George Counties surv'd by Capt. Thomas Hooper. William Waugh had 1,200 acres of 8,000 granted John Waugh of Stafford County Clk. & 190 acres surplus. Resurv. Mr. John Grant. Adj. Col. - I-58: Capt. Edward Montjoy of Stafford County dec'd obtained Deed 11 Aug. 1704 for 246 acres & 76 Po. & John Lomax of Essex County dec'd obtained a Deed 12 Aug. 1726 for 200 acres. Both Tracts became property of the Iron Mine Company in Bristol (record of Stafford County Court). Col. John Champe Atty. for said Company never paid Quit Rents. Tracts became Lapsd & forf[e]ited. Grant to Capt. Alex'r Doniphan of Stafford County of remaining part of said Tracts VIZ: 139 acres of former & 38 acres of latter being 177 acres. On Potomack Run in Stafford County. Surv. John Mauzy.
