    One known brother of Agnes "Nancy" MONTGOMERY (McCorkle) is Rev. Joseph Montgomery, 1733-1794, Presbyterian minister and member of the First Continental Congress from Pennsylvania.

    Generation I. John Finley begat Martha Finley. Generation II Martha Finley married John Montgomery.

    Generation II. "Nancy" Agnes Montgomery m. Alexander McCorkle, 1722-1800. Agness and Alexander were immigrants to Pennsylvania from the Ulster Plantation (Northern Ireland). Our family lore, for which I have no proof, is that Agnes Montgomery and Alexander McCorkle as children came to Colonial North America as children, then later married in Pennsylvania (I have no proof for the Pennsylvania marriage, either).
