We are told that DAvid left Kansas and went to some bible college in Nebraska. There he met Addie Strohl. He was a Pastor for a while serving with Congregational Churches. He later had to give it up and go into construction work as being a Pastor didn't pay him enough to raise a family of five kids. (Frances Robertson)
