J., 24 Oct. 1812; m. at Woodbridge Meeting, 28 Aug. 1766, Abraham (Abram) Vail, b. in Greenbrook, 22 July 1744, d. in Barnard Township, now North Plainfield, N. J., 8 Sept., 1824. This Abraham Vail was called “Red Abraham” to distinguish him from Abraham Vail who married Margaret Fitz Randolph [daughter of Robert and Catherine (Taylor) Fitz Randolph], who was known as “Black Abraham”.’
