The Will of Abraham Alexander of Mecklenburg Co...to my wife Dorcas, all that part of the plantation whereon I now live; to my son Isaac, £ 5; to my only daughter Elizabeth Alexander, £ 205; to my son Abraham Alexander, £ 50; to my son Nathaniel Alexander, £ 50 when he arrives at 21; to Joab Alexander, 250 acres, the southern division of my plantation; to my son Ezra Alexander (who I recommend to be taught the trade of a taylor or any other he may prefer), £ 50; my son Marcus be put to grammar school & £ 50; to my son Cyrus, an English learning, wife Dorcas & sons Isaac & Abraham Alexander, Exrs. 12 Apr 1786
