John Choast son of Samuel and Mary (Williams) Choate, was born Jan. 19, 1712, in Chebacco, Ipswich, Mass. He married Abigail _____.
Mr. Choate when a lad subscribed to the following;
"I John Chote. a minor aged about 16 yrs. son of Samuel Choate of Ipswich
husbandman deceased and son in law to Samuel Story late of Ipswich deceased have
made my Uncle John Williams of Rooxbury yeoman, my guardian to take possession of

Note: This does not mean his wife was Abigail Story. Samuel Story had no daughter Abigail. His mother Mary Williams married 2nd to Samuel Story. The maiden name of Abigail his wife is not known.
