↑Torrey gives the wife name as Abigail Rhoades. While it would not be surprising if Rodes was mis-transcribed as Roder, and no other record using the name Roder prior to 1823 shows up in Massachusetts (using americanancestors.org), it remains that Torrey's basis for his spelling is unclear. The marriage record says Roder, and the only other source Torrey gives only mentions the husband, never giving any part of his wife's name.
