[Note: The Winchester Records are not available online. This transcription differs from the town clerk transcription above, and the accuracy of these transcriptions has not been verified doe to this lack of access. However, this transcription appears more likely based on the spacing of sibling births, particularly Mary who is listed with incomplete date between Abigail and Eunice who was b. 1765, hence Mary was born by 1764 if not 1763. This would be most reasonable if Abigail's birth actually was 1762. The Houghton Genealogy, which appears to have not had access to Winchester records, does not even seem aware of Mary and offers no birthdate for Abigail, so is no help.]

  4. Note: Find A Grave gives a death date of 1 Nov 1826, but includes no image of the gravestone, so the basis, and hence, its credibility, is unknown. Although the memorial page calls her "Miss; in her 65th yr." which indicates it is this unmarried Abigail Houghton, however, one contributor refers to this memorial as her "4th Great-Grandmother"??
