Will Transcript

I Abigail Price of the Borough of Chester in the County of Chester in the Common Wealth of Pennsylvania Widow being aged ad infirm in Body but throh. the goodness of God of a sound and well disposing mind and Memory and considering the certainty of death and the uncertainty of the time thereof to think fit to make this my last Will and Testament as follows; Vizt.
Imprimis my will is that all my just debts and funeral expenses by duly paid and satisfied by my Executors as soon as may be after my decease.
Item I give & Bequeath to my son Elisha Price the interest use and profits of the sum of One Hundred pounds for and during his Natural life and from and immediately after his decease My Will is and I give and bequeath the said Sum of one hundred pounds equally to and among the children of my said Son and the legal Representatives of such of them as may be then dead such Representatives only taking such share as would have fallen to the person they represent had he/She? been living.
Item I give and bequeath to the Children of my son David Price deceased as follows; Viz: to William my Clock, to David my desk and Book case, to Mary my High Chest of craws, to Ann my low Chest of draws, to Margery my pound table, Square table, and tea table, and to the said Mary, Ann and Margery each a feather Bed and furniture.
Item, I Give and bequeath unto James Job the interest use and profits of the Sum of fifty pounds during his Natural life to be paid into the Hands of his brother Archibald Job for his benefit, and at the said James's death I bequeath the interest use and profits of the said fifty pounds to Andrew the son of the said Archibald Job during his natural life and at his decease my Will is and I bequeath the said fifty pounds equally between all the Children of my son David deceased.
Item I give and bequeath all my Wearing apparel equally to and among my four Granddaughters viz. Abigail, Mary, Ann & Margery the Children of my son David deceased.
And all the rest Residue and Remainder of my Estate of What kind, nature, degree or quality sowes? and whereever the same my be I do give devise and bequeath unto my Grand Children the Children of my son David deceased namely David, Abigail, Mary, Ann & Margery to be equally divided between them part and Share alike.
Lastly I Nominate constitute and appoint my son Elisha Price and my friends David Wharrey & Archibald Job to be Whole and Sole Executors of this my last Will and testament. provided allways & Nevertheless that the Nomination & Appointment, of the Executors of this my Will Shall not be deemed or construed _____ form the first & due payment of any debt or demand due and owing from them to me.
And I do hereby Revoke all former Wills by me made and do declare they and no others to be my last Will & testament.
In Witness whereof I have hereunto Set my Hand & Seal this Sixth day of November 1783.

I Abigail Price above named to think fit to make this Codicil or Addition to my Will as follows: I revoke that part of my last Will bequeathing to my son Elisha the Interest of One Hundred pounds and the Pricipal to his Children at his Death and in Lieu thereof I give to my said son Elisha one Hundred Pounds for his own use~
Witness my Hand and Seal this 21st day of March Anno Dom. 1784

Chester [County] 28th May 1784. Then presonally appeared Henry Hale Graham Esqr. and William Graham and on their solemn Affirmations ~ according to Law did Severally declare affirm and say that they were present and did see and hear Abigail Price the Testator within named Sign, Seal, publish pronounce and Declare the foregoing Writing as and for her last Will and Testament and also the Codicil Annexed to the same, and that at the respective times of so doing, she was of sound and well disposing mind and Memory to the best of their Understandings.
